About
I have played many roles: a startup founder, CTO at a different startup, a Google engineer, research partner at a venture capital fund, a mid-career Ph.D (because why not?), and generally tinkerer at the intersection of systems, cryptography, and money. These days, I work on privacy at Chainlink.
Why is Bitcoin interesting?
Bitcoin is interesting for all the usual reasons: mythical creator, cockroach-like design, the worse-is-better ethos, being a libertarian lifeline, and so forth. But for me, it was also a new way of thinking. Once you see Bitcoin, you cannot unsee it - and the world is never the same again.
Expertise
Cryptography, Bitcoin’s design, system-design, and startups.
